Why Brazil?
Brazil- a true kiteboarding paradise. Kite everyday in some of the world’s best waves and various flat water lagoons with a crew of like-minded kiters and travellers. Explore world famous spots and see lots of pro-riders training new tricks.
Four different locations, Atins, Barra Grande, Tatajuba and Jericocoara – Prea, where you will find spectacular coastline, dunes and secluded beaches. It is no surprise why sports enthusiasts have been coming from all corners of the world to experience the wind and ride the waves.
Atins is a jewel at the foot of one of the largest national parks of dunes and lagoons in Brasil known as Lençois Maranhenses. This tiny fisherman’s village is found in the delta of the River Preguiças, surrounded by sandbanks which emerge during low tide forming large lagoons of flat water, making this place an authentic paradise for kitesurfer of all levels. The village of Atins has really maintained its authenticity with its sandy streets and coconut trees here, there and everywhere.
Barra Grande, a small village filled with charm with its sandy streets found along the coast of Piaui in northeast Brazil. In the past few years it has converted into a “must visit” for kitesurf lovers. This place has an authentic feel, as do the people and the scenic beauty that surrounds Barra Grande, attracting those even outside of the kitesurfing world. The conditions – a constant wind of 18-28 knots, soft sand beaches and seawater lagoons – give good kiting for beginners as well as enough to entertain the pros too.
Tatajuba, a small fishing village that sits at the mouth of the River Tucunduba, surrounded by an immense dune park. With the slow, laid back lifestyle it’s too easy to forget what time or day of the week it is here.
Jericoacoara, better known as “Jeri”, is, without a doubt an addition to your bucket list. Discovered in the 80’s the Jeri we see today has developed into a world-famous destination not only for kitesurfing but also for tourists from all over. Village life in Jeri moves slowly during the day as everybody ventures out to the beach or neighboring lagoons, but when night hits everyone comes out to play. Late afternoon, no matter what day of the year, everyone heads to the main beach to watch talented locals practice the beautiful dance of capoeira and to walk the neighboring dune to get the best view of the magical sunset.
For those who want a break from kiting, the area offers many possibilities. Excursions around the magical, world-wide renowned lagoons of the National Park of Lençois Maranhenses National Park near Atins are available. Barra Grande has much to offer thanks to its geographic situation and it’s beauty. Excursions can be easily organized to explore the region to see the highlights, from waterfalls to waters infested with magical seahorses! Kayaking is also highly recommended!
Jeri now offers so many alternative activities, guaranteed your days can be filled back to back with adventure and here are some of our favorites just to name a few: horseback riding along the beach during sunset; ride on a buggy or quad into the dunes of Jericoacoara National Park or to its neighboring caribbean-like Lagoa de Paraíso o Lagoa Azul, Surf or SUP waves on Jeri’s popular main beach
We guarantee you an awesome experience, kiting downwind in some of the best uncrowded spots whilst discovering crystal clear flat lagoons along the way. Whether you are just starting out and want to improve your riding or you’ve been at it for years and want to push your limits we’ll find the perfect playground for you.
We offer a 14 days kitesurf trip in Brazil, spending 4 nights in Atins, 3 nights in Barra Grande, 2 nights in Tatajuba, 4 nights in Jericocoara and Prea.
Let’s go kiting at Red Bull King of the Air home!

For sure, Tulum is one of the most beautiful beaches in the World, with picturesque Mayan temples overlooking the white sandy beaches. 125 km south of the big hotels of Cancun City, it is a small but perfectly-formed white sandy cove, with some palm shade and the blue Caribbean sea.
Of course, is a paradise for kiteboarding. About 800m offshore is a reef creating a great surfing spot with waves up to 5m. Between the reef and shore is flat/choppy water depending on the wind speed.
Diving, snorkeling, and swimming in the underwater rivers or caves (cenotes) is an extremely popular activity in Tulum, and there are many to choose from. This cenotes seems each has its own unique appeal and structure, and they are discovering more very often. The maya civilization believed they were the entry to the underworld and considered them sacred. Tulum town is also perfectly situated for trips to nearby Cobá and Chichen Itza, one of the seven wonders of the modern world. In Tulum’s town there are lot of choices to eat. Tulum is the type of town that invites you to relax, take a hammock, and just chill out.
And for New Year’s Eve, there are always great parties and events in the village, in the jungle, cenote parties, and beach parties. You will find something to fit your liking!
Holbox Island is a paradise kitesurfing holiday destination located north of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula and Cancun. As part of Mexico’s largest ecological reserve, Yum Balam, the island is mostly covered in wild mangroves and long stretches of white sandy beaches. Colorful murals, turquoise waters, bohemian cafes, unpaved streets and no cars to speak of, make this rural getaway in a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The relaxed island vibe sets the perfect atmosphere for your next kitesurfing holiday in Holbox!
Holbox offers consistent wind between the months of November and August and a wide expanse of flat water, making it one of Mexico’s best kitesurfing spots. The wind hits the beach side-onshore and the daytime temperatures sit between 24 and 35 degrees Celsius. The Las Nubes sandbank provides a wide sandy beach that opens up into the flat water lagoon. Holbox is a fantastic spot for anyone wanting to learn to kitesurf due to its shallow flat waters and consistent steady winds. As the winds build, advanced kitesurfers can also enjoy the spot for long, uncrowded rides, perfect for practicing new tricks.
While Holbox is the perfect place just to kick back and relax on the beach or never-ending sandbars, there are also a lor of things to do when you get bored of doing absolutely nothing! Explore the island by boat or bicycle, enjoy a walking tour to discover the vibrant murals, enjoy some snorkeling or swimming with whale sharks, kayak the mangroves with their pelicans and flamingoes, go fishing or paddlepoarding or reconnect with nature and yourself through yoga.
